Overview: Menswear Autumn/Winter 2011

From Burberry Prorsum's citrus coloured puffas to the triangle-collared shearling coats on display at Alexander McQueen, the Menswear Autumn/Winter 2011 collections have given us a taste of the season ahead.  Emerging trends included succulent berry-coloured clothing as seen at Jil Sander and Prada, as well as a return of the shearling jacket which was seen at many of the shows, including Trussardi and Burberry Prorsum.

Gucci celebrated their 90th anniversary in style with a blend of hairy mohair sweaters, sharp tailored jackets
and check ties, all in complimenting fushia, navy and brown colours. Prada's graphic polo shirts were mixed
with suede oversized coats, while Vivienne Westwood went for colour-block brights and ornate patterns
in bold colours.

Expect crisp tailoring, unexpected colour combinations and plenty of statement coats to be on the agenda
when Autumn/Winter 2011 rolls around - below is a quick look at some of the statement pieces from each collection.
