Proenza Schouler Accessories Pre-Fall 2011

Fresh from Proenza Schouler's colourful Pre-Fall collection, we now get a glimpse at the coordinating accessories which design duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have lined up to accompany the pretty patterns and chunky knits we saw modelled by Julia Stegner (see the collection here). The clothing collection put an emphasis on knitwear as well as prominent abstract patterns, and the accessories also reflects both of these ideas: with some pieces adorned with colourful warm stripes, and many of the shoes are woven in soft leather.

Both of Proenza Schouler's famous bags got a revamp: the PS11 came in an orange and brown stripe as well as a lipstick red shade, while the PS1 was kept simple in a black fur and leather finish. Two new totes were added the the line, as well as an array of footwear ranging from strappy leather heels to woven brogues - the on-trends colours and exciting new finishing touches to these accessories are proof that this design duo are still ahead of the game when it comes to both clothing and accessories design.
