A/W 2011 Newcomer: Josephine Skriver

Denmark model Josephine Skriver has been one of the top newcomers to the catwalk this Autumn/Winter 2011 season - she has already appeared at over 15 shows between both New York and Milan Fashion Weeks, walking for Prada who are famous for introducing the model of the season, as well as at Gucci and Alberta Ferretti in Milan. She also stole the show in New York, where she appeared for labels including Rag&Bone, Preen, Calvin Klein, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Halston.

Josephine launched her career at Copenhagen Fashion Week in 2009 with Unique modelling agency. Her aunt contacted the modelling agency, although according to Josephine she had thought about it as a career path before then: "I had thought about modelling for a while. A friend of my aunt's contacted Unique, because she thought I had potential."
