From fur-lined sunglasses seen at Alexander Wang, to feminine tan clutches at Marc Jacobs, the accessories of Autumn/Winter 2011 made a big impact upon their catwalk debut at New York Fashion Week recently.
Proenza Schouler used colour-blocking to create bold graphic purses and delicate heels with triangle style cut-outs, while Alexander Wang kept up his usual sense of cool with heeled loafers in metallic blue complete with tassels, as well as those awe-inspiring, must have fur glasses that set each look apart further.
Marc Jacobs always shows a delectable, mouth-watering range of accessories, and for both his Marc Jacobs and
Marc by Marc Jacobs lines, this was apparent. With shearling-cuffed booties, polka-dot totes and heeled white snow boots, he created wearable womanly accessories that coordinated perfectly with his vintage vision (see the Marc Jacobs review
here).
Rodarte's patterned tan boots went perfectly with their prairie girl inspiration, while at Rag & Bone, a pair of duo-brown pointed boots completed their Autumnal take on sporty chic. Check out the best of the New York Fashion Week accessories below!
