For the March issue of Interview magazine, Proenza Schouler design duo Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough are interviewed by Chloe Sevigny, who is a close friend of theirs. Accompanying the interview is a photo of the two designers, as well as photographs of model Kasia Struss who wears acid bright designs from the Spring/Summer 2011 Proenza Schouler collection - the set of photos was captured by Craig McDean.
In the interview, the two designers open up on working together, and finding common ground when they both want to go in different design directions. Lazaro commented: "If I want black and Jack wants white, we won’t do either. We’ll do gray. We have to find something in-between. . . . But Proenza Schouler wouldn’t look the way it does if it were me by myself or Jack by himself." Check out the full article on the Interview website.
