LFW: PPQ Autumn/Winter 2011

Meow! Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker brought gothic glamour to the catwalk on Friday when they finished off the first day of London Fashion Week with cat hats and a pallet of black, purple and grey! Despite showing a clear historical influence with ruffles, high collars and vintage style jewellery and accessories, the designer duo still managed to keep the collection looking young and fresh with short hemlines and fitted silhouettes.

Hair and makeup for the show was simple yet striking. Long neat plaits peeked out from under the cat hats and fell forward over the model's shoulders and a simple line of black eye-liner was used to grace the eyelids and flick out at the edges, adding to the feline feel. Lips were painted red, some bold and some dazzling and glittery contrasting against pale faces and creating a rather vampish look.

Edgy, young and fun; PPQ sure do know how to put on a show.
