Towering heels, floppy hats and oversized sunglasses - 70's inspiration has been making a comeback, with high-waisted silhouettes, bright patterns and a mix of beiges coming together to conjure up a retro slickness that has been taking over on the runway and on the pages of Vogue for the past few seasons. Photographer Terry Richardson seems to enjoy adding a touch of the 70's in to his shoots, while designers such as Chloé as well as high-street store Topshop have adopted a relaxed retro vibe with bellowing flares, wooden heels and printed tops.
