The CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) have announced this year's nominees, as well as some of the winners. Marc Jacobs has landed the prestigious Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement prize, while Lady Gaga has been named as this year's winner of the Fashion Icon Award. Céline head designer Phoebe Philo will also be recognized for her work with the International Award. Marc Jacobs is also in the running for another award, the Womenswear Designer of the Year Award, but will face competition from Alexander Wang, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler. The full list of nominees and winners are below. The awards ceremony will take place on June 6th.
