From Gaultier's fur-lined shopping trolley to
Galliano's feather hat, Paris Fashion Week turned up many new season accessories which perfectly complimented the garments on show. At the Louis Vuitton Autumn/Winter 2011 show, Marc Jacobs gave the accessories line a quirky spin, opting for a mix of colour block tote bags and retro-inspired boots. Over at Céline, accessories mastermind Phoebe Philo created what looked like the perfect home for a iPad - an oversized flat tan clutch bag.
At Christian Dior, the accessories hit all the right notes, with floppy hats and modern totes juxtaposing Galliano's references taken from the 30's and 40's and hitting them hard against a modern tuneup. As per usual, Hermés showed off a range of deluxe leather goods including leather gloves, cuffs and rings all piled up to call attention to the arms and hands.
Sarah Burton added bondage-inspired corset belts to flowing gowns in monochrome shades at Alexander McQueen, while a gravity-defying pair of heels stood almost impossibly with many of the looks, completed with leather straps and studs.
Below is a run through some of the accessories that owned the catwalk this Paris fashion week.
