Proenza Schouler Autumn/Winter 2011 Accessories

Proenza Schouler design duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have always come out on top when it comes to designing accessories, opting for colour-bright pieces with a modern twist. This season is no different, with fur-trim claw-like necklaces, patent black leather strappy wedge boots and of course, the now famous range of PS1 and PS11 bags. The PS11 small shoulder bag was one of the stand-out pieces from the accessories collection, coming in a burnt orange and tan colour, while there are three PS1 styles available, including a tribal-inspired woven clutch in black with hints of a zesty yellow and orange.

Colourful slinky heels, hairy red ankle boots and some cut-out angular belts topped off the accessories collection seamlessly. The Proenza Schouler designers know who they are marketing their designs to - street cool, style savvy women. They manage to make designs particularly for those who are au fait with all things fashion, adding a drop of sartorial magnificence in to each of their pieces, and distributing them in to the clamoring, eagerly awaiting hands of the fashion elite.
