Yves Saint Laurent 'Boheme Libertine' S/S 2011 Makeup

Yves Saint Laurent's Spring/Summer 2011 collection is named 'Boheme Libertine' and was created by the fashion house's international makeup artist Lloyd Simmonds, whose first makeup collection with the label was in Autumn/Winter 2010 and was comprised of mouth-watering citrus shades. This collection isn't much different, again using juicy, fruity colours which have been combined with some softer pastel shades and muted tones.

First off, is a new 'pink celebration powder' which is a soft pink blush that comes in an opulent gold container. The lipstick range,  'Rouge Pur Couture' comes in shades ranging from a soft brown to a dark purple. Simmonds has added a splash of colour to the 'Golden Gloss' and solo eye-shadows, with daring deep violet shades and an icy turquoise adding brightness to the other neutral staples.

Two of the nail polishes on show are again powerful colours - a muted dove grey shade and a sky blue colour. Rounding off the collection are two bright creme blushes - one in a hot pink and another in a pillar-box red. Simmonds has reinvented the Yves Saint Laurent makeup line with beautiful statement colour choices, sleek packaging and seriously desirable products that are worth a splurging for. Take a peek at some of the products below.
