The famous head designer of Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld believes that the biggest style mistake is dressing in clothes that aren't right for your shape. He commented that everyone needs to understand what shape they are and dress accordingly. He said: "Buy what you know works for your body and only buy something if it fits well."
Karl is a firm believer that simple outfits can be the most chic, and says that keeping styling minimal can be powerful. He also says that women with great skin shouldn't cover their faces in makeup - natural is the way to go. The legendary designer advised: "Never underestimate the power of a simple T-shirt, jeans and a jacket. It always looks very chic. Lots of women look great with no make-up on, so if you have good skin, keep it bare."
Karl also predicts that we should embrace the bright colours and prints that are on trend right now because soon darker colours will make a return to fashion: "You can't avoid all the colour and the brights out there. Give it a go. By next autumn/winter we will all be wearing black and grey again because everyone will be fed up of the colour and print!
