Tory Burch Autumn/Winter 2011 Accessories Collection

American designer Tory Burch has given accessories a retro spin for Autumn/Winter 2011, with warm autumnal hues, 70's style repeat patterns added to bags and boots with a distinctly vintage charm. A pair of velvet wedges are one of the boldest pieces from the accessories range, with gold piping and a thin strap, they stood out for their vampy colour and soft charm. The retro vibe continued throughout the shoes, which included a pair of heeled brown moccasins with a coordinating wooden heel and a red and black heeled riding boot.

The bags were equally as original, with fold-over small shoulder bags finished with black leather and fronted with woven colourful wool, while another similar bag had a similar front, completed with a dark yellow simple pattern. A block colour mustard tote and a darker slimmer blue bag added a sizable amount of colour to the collection as a whole, and didn't neglect to address the recent return to rich bright colours. Like many other designers, Burch went back in time in order to progress the future of fashion. As each designer adds their own stamp to past creations, there is a rejuvenate coolness to it all, while adding some new ideas to the mixing bowl.
