Models & Designers Attend the 2011 Costume Institute Gala 'Met Ball'

Every year, the 'Met Ball' held by the Costume Institute is a star studded event, and this year was as exciting as always. This year, the ball coincides with the opening of the 'Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty' exhibition (take a look inside here) which honors the late designer. In attendance was a bevy of designers, editors and models who turned out for the glamorous event, one of the most anticipated occasions of the year. Among the best dressed was Doutzen Kroes who wowed in a tulle red gown by Giambattista Valli complete with a dramatic train. Also making waves was a perfectly groomed Rosie Huntington-Whitely who slipped in to a pale pink silk custom gown by Burberry as she attended with head designer of the label, Christopher Bailey.
