Known for her Marsha Hunt-esque afro and colourful wardrobe, 23-year-old model-turned-fashion editor Julia Sarr-Jamois has become recognized as one of the most stylish editors on the front row. Regularly photographed by street style photographers come fashion week, Julia began her career as a model working for Diesel, but shifted careers in pursuit of something more creative. After an internship with i-D, she landed her current position with Wonderland magazine, which she began in November 2010. Her style mixes vintage denim (she says most of her denim pieces come from her mother) with rising British designers such as Christopher Kane, and an assortment of statement catwalk pieces from the current season - she has recently been spotted wearing Kane's neon brights and Prada's eccentric stripes from both designers Spring/Summer 2011 collections. Julia's style is playful, retro and completely unique - mixing colours, prints and textures, it's no wonder Julia has quickly moved through the ranks to land her current position as fashion editor.
