After his recent appearance in L'Officiel Ukraine (see it here) as well as a catwalk appearance at Sao Paulo Fashion Week, rising model Andrej Pejic continues to shine, this time for New York label MadeMe, who have selected the model to star in their upcoming Autumn/Winter 2011 Lookbook. Speaking to Fashionista, MadeMe designer Erin Magee explains why she chose Pejic: “The clothes I make are quite androgynous anyway, I do mens styles in a feminine fit so he was the perfect model for me.” Magee comments that she decided to style Andrej in a more masculine way to keep people guessing: “I think he dresses on his own a lot more feminine then I had him in the look book, I just wanted to keep him natural and keep people guessing about him and the clothes–make them think, ‘Is this for women or is this for men?’”
