Carine Roitfeld is returning to her roots as a stylist for the upcoming September issue of V magazine. Carine has remained silent on what she has planned for the issue until now, revealing to WWD that she is set to team up with Mario Testino to style an extensive 72-page shoot. The spread, which will be for V magazine's 'Heroes Issue', will be Elizabeth Taylor themed and will be one of Carine's first jobs since she parted ways with Vogue Paris (she also styled Chanel's Autumn/Winter 2011 campaign, see it here). Speaking her latest collaboration, Roitfeld commented that she chose Elizabeth as her muse for the shoot because of her elegance: “She had the kind of elegance that went far beyond clothes.”
