Christian Louboutin Wants You to Spend $1,000 on Trash Covered Heels

Christian Louboutin wants to sell you back your own trash for $1,000. The Paris-based footwear designer has launched a new set of heels which have all the signature Louboutin looks: a spiky red heel, covered in metallic silver snakeskin, but this pair has a peep-toe front covered in garbage. The waste used is “pieces of thread, postage stamps, scribbled notes, leftover sequins, and fabric swatches from seasons past” so perhaps nothing that has ever even seen a landfill, but he has still decided to name it the "Eco-Trash" shoe. Costing $1,095, some have already commented that these so called "eco" shoes almost mocks true eco-friendly initiatives. Below are the heels in question - what do you think?
