Since she has moved up the ranks to become Vogue Paris' editor-in-chief, Emmanuelle Alt has proven herself a worthy replacement for the former editor, Carine Roitfeld. Her style is a unique mixture of designer items and lesser known labels, which she mixes together with ease. Her style signatures are sharp tailoring (a blazer is one of her must-haves), leather trousers and simple crew neck t-shirts. Barely ever seen carrying a luxurious bag, she prefers to style her look with either a pair of aviator sunglasses or perhaps a pair of designer boots. Her wardrobe is mostly monochromatic, with hints of olive green, navy and mostly other subdued shades. Her style is often slightly masculine, but with the addition of heels, she ends up looking sharp yet effortless. Unlike many other editors who put in an obvious amount of effort into their fashion week looks, Emmanuelle can be found sitting on the front row in jeans and a t-shirt. She once explained: " Forget trendy designer labels. Jeans, a sweater or a t-shirt worn under a jacket that seems welded to you. When it's just right, when you don't see the effort, it's irresistible."
