Too Young? 'Jours Après Lunes' Lingerie is for 4 Year Olds

After the recent controversy that has surrounded 10-year-old French model Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau (read the story here) there has been an on-going debate on what is appropriate for child models - and now the story continues. A French lingerie company has created a new line of lingerie and "loungewear" for children and tweens aged 4 - 12 years old named Jours Après Lunes.

The company also produce clothing for small babies (aged 3 - 26 months), which is more age appropriate, but this new line already has people talking: should a 4-year-old girl be dressing in lingerie?

The photos released are certain to provoke complaints - a mixture of young girls in barely-there matching printed underwear sets and accessories - they even have some makeup and jewellery on, making it look as though they are playing dress up or acting as adults. Is this new lingerie line inappropriate? Should a 4-year-old be wearing a bra? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
