The heart of the hustle and bustle of New York Fashion Week can be found backstage, where each model nervously waits to hit the catwalk, catches up with other model friends, greets the designer and gets their makeup done, before finally slipping into their chosen ensemble and lining up. We go backstage at shows such as Alexander Wang, Rag & Bone, Prabal Gurung and Jason Wu to see the models as they prepare to strut their stuff on the catwalk. Models such as Hanne Gaby Odiele, Magdalena Frakowiak and Jourdan Dunn relax and get playful as they soak up the atmosphere and show off the designs that the rest of the world have yet to marvel at.
