Launching on November 23rd (and available until December 23rd), Gareth Pugh's collection for cosmetic company MAC sees the designer inject his vampy, dark vision into lipsticks, eyeshadow and even faux eyelashes. Pugh has stamped each design with his signature gothic vision, through his unusual colour choices such as metallic rainbow nail polish, purple lipstick and "blackest black" mascara, as well as with the sleek angular design which each product is presented in, and not forgetting their eerie names such as 'Ascension' and 'Obscura'.
Speaking on the collaboration, Pugh commented: "When creating my makeup collection with MAC I wanted it to be unexpected — creating something truly beautiful, very sophisticated, and incredibly chic but of course — with an underlying edge of darkness and attitude." The most exciting piece of the collection has to be those angular lashes, which are worn on the model in the new campaign.
