Lady Gaga Wears Custom Chanel to Open Barneys Workshop

Lady Gaga opened a Willy Wonka inspired workshop at Barneys to kick off Christmas shopping season, and for the ribbon cutting ceremony, Gaga was outfitted in a custom Chanel gown created by Karl Lagerfeld, which she wore with dark sunglasses and red lipstick. For the event, Lagerfeld dreamed up a structured white ball gown, padded out with layer upon layer of tulle, while the top half of the dress looks like a closed classic Chanel jacket. Gaga's outfit was completed with a long pearl necklace and bracelets running up her arms, as well as a statement black and white floral headpiece. Take a look at Gaga wearing the gown at the opening ceremony below, as well as Karl's original sketch of the design.
