6 Models Reveal Their Diets

Many models follow a strict diet plan to make sure they maintain their weight, while others say they don't need to, such as Agyness Deyn, who loves eating pizza, especially when she is in New York. Coco Rocha says she loves eating cereal and snacks on it throughout the day, while Karolina Kurkova has a really healthy diet and kick starts her day with green juice and eggs. Coco Rocha
Coco Rocha fills up on cereal throughout the day:"For breakfast, I'll have a bowl of cereal followed by another bowl about an hour later. For lunch, I'll have a salad or sandwich and then a big dinner around 5 p.m. followed by a final bowl of cereal around 9 p.m.. Did I mention I love cereal?"

Agyness Deyn  
Agyness Deyn says she eats whatever she wants and especially loves chowing down on pizza: “I’m no size-zero. I still eat fish and chips. And pizza. It’s my favourite food and they do the best ones in New York. People think models starve themselves but not me. I eat really normally. I think it’s important to be healthy, and for that you are allowed a little bit of everything. If you eat too much you put on weight, if you have a happy medium you stay the same. Every thing in moderation, Especially pizza!"

Marisa Miller
Marisa Miller loves eating healthy but indulges every once and a while when she wants to enjoy herself: “I prefer healthy food and try not to bring too many treats into my house. But I don’t believe in depriving myself either. When I go to the movies, I have a sugary soda, not a diet one. And if I want a burger, I’ll have a burger. I just make it a point not to eat one five days in a row. My husband, Griffin, is tall and lean, so he can eat anything he wants. Some nights he’ll bring home french fries, and I have to resist them! I decide to say ‘no’ and then make something else, like a veggie burger. It’s not always an easy choice, but it’s a healthier one.”

Karolina Kurkova
Karolina Kurkova says she normally only eats very fresh food and also drinks green juice regularly: "I eat very clean and fresh. I wake up and I have a green juice with a little protein powder and glutamine mixed in. Then two hours later I have two hard-boiled eggs. Then, two or three hours later I'll have 10 nuts, like walnuts or almonds. Then I'll have grilled fish with vegetables and salads. And then again, a green juice. I just keep it simple."

Marihenny Rivera
Marihenny Rivera says she tries to eat a healthy diet to maintain her weight, but she loves some junk food too: "Well, I love to eat pasta, pizza, and burgers. But now, I’m just eating soups and salads. If you look in my fridge, all I have are apples, salad, and soup. I feel like a model now! When I tire of eating that stuff, though, I’ll treat myself to something good."

Miranda Kerr
Miranda Kerr reveals that she has to have a special diet because of her blood tyle: "I am a blood type A and more often than not I eat specifically for my blood type, I also eat low-GI, high-alkaline foods, drink filtered water and eat mostly fresh produce and very little meat, due to her little to no meat diet, Miranda shared her secrets to living with low iron levels. Just about all my life I have suffered from low iron (Anemia). As an A blood type I typically try to avoid meat (I eat it when I feel I need it, but basically I don’t eat it often). Instead I give my body the iron it needs by feeding it foods that are rich in iron, the absorption of iron from food is influenced by multiple factors. One important factor being the form of the iron. Heme Iron is the iron that is found in animal sources and is highly available for absorption. Non-heme iron on the other hand, found in vegetable sources, is less available."
