A Vogue Paris cover featuring Kate Moss, published back in June 2010, has been recycled for the January 2012 issue of Australian fashion publication, Madison magazine. The original photo was captured by Mario Sorrenti and sees Kate posing with a red pout and she sits in a vibrant blue ocean. The new cover has been adjusted to look slightly more bright, but is otherwise an identical image. This isn't the first time that a magazine has reused or recycled photos - another of Kate's covers from Vogue Japan May was reused for an issue of Marie Claire Australia November. Actress Carey Mulligan also appeared on an issue of Vogue US a year ago, which popped up again recently as a new cover for Elle France - why are these magazine's so keen to reuse old photos? It seems they may be trying to reuse best selling cover shots in the hopes of repeat high sales.
