Bright & Womanly: Atelier Versace Spring/Summer 2012 Couture Collection

Donatella Versace has been splitting her time between designing for H&M and creating the Atelier Versace Spring/Summer 2012 collection - and what a huge difference there is between the two. Just as her fruity prints and gold accessories have satisfied the mass-market, so much so that the Versace for H&M Cruise collection sold out in a matter of hours, this Atelier Versace collection has something perfect for those looking for an ultra luxurious piece. Citrus shades of lemon, orange and brighter yellow mixed with silver formed the basic colour palette of this 15-piece couture line, while it was the mouth-watering details that made the collection so glamorous and elegant, with lacy florals, microscopic beading details and body-sculpting metal inserts, all of which celebrated the models womanly figures. Donatella Versace continues to impress, no matter what she is creating.
