Danish model Freja Beha Erichsen previously starred in the Autumn/Winter 2011 campaign for Scandinavian jeweller Georg Jensen, and now cross-stitch artist Inge Jacobsen has been enlisted by the label to recreate the old campaign in time for London Fashion Week. The cross-stitch campaign will go on display at Georg Jensen stores across London during London Fashion Week and took around 2,000 hours to create. Speaking on the cross-stitch creations, Inge, who has previously worked her magic on a cover of Vogue, commented to Vogue UK:
"I'm an artist but I'd like to try to balance creating my own pieces with doing these kinds of commercial commissions, because the images I use are high fashion images, it makes sense to work with brands on these kind of pieces. I really enjoyed it and hopefully there will be more in the future."
