After several seasons in hibernation, denim is back for Spring/Summer 2012, with slouchy button-down jumpsuits, cut-off hotpants and bleach splashed rompers making their way onto the catwalks at Isabel Marant, Balmain and many others. At Just Cavalli the designer teamed a washed out pair of shorts with a floaty floral shirt - always a winning combination, while Isabel Marant's casual playsuit features white bleach stains and was paired with gold sandals. At Theyskens' Theory denim was celebrated in several looks, a relaxed fit full length jumpsuit teamed with black leather towering ankle boots and a black shoulder bag was one of the stand out pieces from the collection. Dig out your old jeans and fading hotpants once more, denim is once again a must have for the season ahead.
