The sci-fi inspired black visors at the Alexander McQueen Autumn/Winter 2012 show made each outfit even more awe-inspiring, and took Sarah Burton's futuristic yet bright and elegant vision to the next level. According to Burton, the collection was created with the idea of a bright future in mind: "a beautiful future, positivity, optimism." The clothes were delicate and intricate, while the space-age accessories gave each outfit that futuristic spin, from gravity defying fur boots to sculptural metal waist-cinching belts, while each model wore a huge black visor which covered more than half her face - bold and daring, yet teamed with slicked back platinum blonde hair, also feminine.
