The Chanel Resort 2013 show, which took place at Versailles, has a unique beauty look to compliment Karl Lagerfeld's original vision. Models were given a futuristic clashes with historical mash-up, and this was most evident in the haircut used throughout. Each model wore a short jagged bowl-cut dyed in one of several bright colours (pink, light blue and mint green), and when they turned around, a dark ponytail was visible from underneath the short bob, each tied in regal looking big ribbons.
The makeup look was equally as striking and unique - pale yet rosy skin teamed with pink eyeshadow which extended all the way up to thick, arched dark eyebrows. Some models wore a interlocking 'CC' beauty mark below one eye, while a pink glossy lip completed the show's makeup look. Below is a look at the full hair and makeup backstage before the event.
