Phoebe Philo continues to boost Céline, taking it to whole new levels of desirability as each season passes. For the Resort 2013 collection she continues with her usual minimal take on tailoring, which she has mixed with some foulard-inspired prints similar to those of past seasons. She has added giant polka-dots and cheetah prints to the line up, which were splashed sparsely, cleverly interspersing block colour pieces in deep red, navy, peach and green. Adding structure with long leather coats and shorter minimal jackets, Philo created a balanced and refined collection that was feminine, sophisticated and wearable. As always, she excels in accessory design, adding oversized clutches and perspex heels to complete her vision.
