New designer Clare Waight Keller is making her presence felt at Chloé. The Cruise 2013 collection was shown in a breezy field setting, as models posed on a sleek glass platform in slouchy trousers, butterfly sleeve tops, layered dresses in lavender and open knit sweaters. The vibe was relaxed and cool, with on obviously large dose of Chloé style femininity to top it off. Layers were unfussy and often unstructured, topped off with mid-heel flip-flop shoes, towering wooden platforms and oversized clutch bags. Soft peach, beige and dusty pink shades were blended with darker apricot, deep electric blue and rust creating a contrasting palette that was simultaneously dramatic and fresh.
