Karl Lagerfeld believes his new fluffy white kitten named Choupette, which has become an internet sensation, is now more famous than he is. Although commercial work is constantly being offered to Choupette, Karl says it simply won't happen because she isn't interested in that kind of work:
"You know, personally, I don't even think that I'm famous, now, Choupette really is famous. She has become the most famous cat in the world. I even get propositioned by pet food companies and things like that but it's out of the question. I'm commercial. She's not. She's spoiled to death. Obviously."
Karl admits he pampers Choupette and lets her sit in the cockpit with the pilot when they fly to St. Tropez because "she loves looking at the sky."
Karl says the cat gets lonely without him and will wait for him at the door:
