Vogue Paris enlists a trio of top models to grace their September 2012 edition, which debuts the magazine's revamped look spearheaded by editor Emmanuelle Alt. New features include a fashion opinion column penned by blogger Garance Doré, and the general aesthetic has been remodelled to reflect the publication's timelessly chic vision. Alt commented on the changes:
All the other Vogues carry a country name. Vogue Paris is the only one to carry the name of a city, everyone fantasizes about Paris. It’s the concept of the ‘Parisienne.’ The ‘Parisienne’ is a girl who makes people dream worldwide, rightly or wrongly, a girl who represents a particular style, a taste, an allure.”
The layout has been tweaked to incorporate new section changes, something Alt decided to do to put her own stamp on the publication:
“It is very important to make your mark on the layout, to have a magazine tailor-made for the content you want to have."
The September issue's three covers were captured by Mert & Marcus - Lara Stone, Kate Moss and Daria Werbowy all wear the same black Dolce & Gabbana dress for their individual cover shots, and the theme of the issue throughout is the colour black. The issue is 420 pages, with 224 advertisement pages.
