We've all been waiting to see what Hedi Slimane will come up with as his debut at Yves Saint Laurent (now Saint Laurent Paris!) and finally a first look has appeared, however it isn't as exciting as we'd hoped. After months of keeping all of the designs under wraps with secret viewings for editors, the first Slimane designed piece for the label to be viewable to the public is now unveiled, dangling from Gwyneth Paltrow's arm!
Slimane reportedly created Paltrow's Saint Laurent Paris mink-coloured tote bag exclusively for her and the actress was seen with the bag at LAX airport this month, it was only recently identified as Slimane's work. Although luxurious, the tote is a very classic, simple style. It may be an anticlimactic debut, but we're still left pondering what the actual clothing will look like..
