Did Terry Richardson Plagiarize an Entire Vogue Paris Editorial?

While there are plenty of photographers who take influence from others or give an old idea a new twist, Terry Richardson's latest work might have crossed the line in to blatant plagiarism territory. Photographed for Harper's Bazaar US March 2013 and featuring Catherine McNeil in a shoot named ' Black Brings Sexy Back', Terry snaps a dark sexy shoot also starring a black panther - but haven't we seen this before?

The setting, styling and even the panther seems to come directly from a Vogue Paris shoot - the September 2010 issue. The shoot, starring Freja Beha Erichsen and captured by Mikael Jansson sees Freja pose in a gothic looking Parisian setting while leading a menacing panther by a lead - exactly what Terry has replicated. Take a look at both shoots and decide for yourself - has Terry ripped off the idea in it's entirety, or is it just inspired by it?
