Cara Delevingne on Walking at Fashion Week: "It's a Bit of a Nightmare"

British model Cara Delevingne has revealed that walking the catwalk during Fashion Week isn't quite as easy as it looks and it even gets harder over time because you know what to expect and are thinking more about the process ahead of you. She says that her first season or two were very easy because she was simply living in the moment and she explains that this season was different for her:

"I think when I started modeling three years ago, it was just a job, and I was so excited—everything was so new, so crazy. I didn't overthink anything; I just did it and enjoyed myself along the way. But after a few seasons, you get used to it, and there's a lot you actually have to think about, and, I don't know, it just makes you much more aware of what you look like and what other people think. It's a bit of a nightmare."

She even believes walking can become hard if you over-think it too much and it is often on her mind:

"Left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot... That's all that's on my mind at the moment, just walking -- it's mad, actually, [modeling is] really tough... This walking thing is crazy."

She admits that even though the whole process can be tiring, she tries to approach each one positively:

"Even if I'm exhausted, I always try to go into a show with a smile on my face."
