Photos From Kate Moss' First Ever Shoot Up For Auction

Photographer David Ross hit the jackpot back in 1988 when he hired Kate Moss to star in a simple black&white shoot just days after she was scouted by Storm Agency in London. He snapped Moss portrait style wearing a black shirt as she gave the camera a powerful yet innocent stare - already looking like a complete pro. Two never-before-seen snaps from the photo shoot are now going up for auction next month, starting at an estimated price of £1,200 each. Speaking on the shoot, Ross commented:

“I enjoyed photographing her because she had quite angular bones, she looked so young. But these pictures portray her at the absolute threshold of her life changing forever. I took three rolls of films, the first roll was just to see how Kate responded to the camera and she was a natural. These two pictures are from that roll and they have never been seen by anybody before.”
