Posing for Net-a-Porter's new magazine The Edit, British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley also speaks to the magazine about her work, friends and love-life. Rosie models 'Riviera Chic' for the magazine's summer issue as she cycles around a stunning area in bright prints.
Speaking on her acting career, Rosie says she would love to try a drama or a good British comedy but she believes American wit is often sexist:
"I’d love to do a period drama, or make a quintessentially British comedy. I just don’t connect with gross-out fart jokes and slapstick. When I’m on a plane I watch all the new releases, I see that as my job, and I have to say, a lot of American comedies are very sexist."
Commenting on her long-time 3-year relationship with actor Jason Statham, Rosie says they just enjoy each other's company: "Jason and I just make each other laugh. Most of the time we’re p***ing ourselves laughing, whispering comments in each other’s ears. Oh, you know. Naughty stuff. I’m not interested in hanging out with boys. I have all the man I need!"
On the weight pressures she had while growing up, Rosie says she naturally grew out of it: "It was only puppy fat, which melted away as I grew up."
Revealing that she has a small tight knit group of friends, Rosie says she loves to see successful women: "I have my small group of girls and that’s it. I am very pro-women. I love seeing successful women who are living their dreams. I have so much respect for them."
