Rising footwear label Aquazzura, as created by designer Edgardo Osorio, put on an extravagant show as part of the label's Pitti Uomo presentation in Florence. In order to highlight his designs, Osorio was inspired by movement and dance: thus he put together an array of dance acts (ballet and tap in heels) and even a "fashion gym" with models cycling in heels. To top off the event, he even had male models, dressed in tuxedos, show off their legs in bright pink stilettos. He told Fashionista about the idea:
“It was a little bit tricky [to get the male models to wear heels], but then they came onto it. As soon as they put them on they were all taking pictures and Instagraming them and Tweeting them, and they were having fun. At the end of the day, they were having a blast. I like fashion to be fun.”
