Cara Delevingne Auditioned for 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Role

According to reports, British model Cara Delevingne has auditioned for a part in the upcoming book adaption film 'Fifty Shades of Grey'. The erotic film has had much hype regarding the casting so far, and although no details have been revealed yet, it seems as thought Cara has auditioned for a small role. A source commented that Cara is keen to be an actress and really wants the role:

''Cara is a frontrunner for a part. She's desperate to get the gig and has always said that she wanted to be taken seriously as an actress. She loved her small role in 'Anna Karenina' with Keira Knightley last year - so she jumped at the chance to audition.''

Cara also has an advantage because she already knows the film's director Sam Taylor-Johnson through her husband who directed 'Anna Karenina' which she had a minor role in previously:

''Cara became close friends with Sam's husband Aaron Taylor-Johnson when they filmed 'Anna Karenina' together. She is a global icon now and a good actress as well and Sam wants her in the movie - though which part exactly hasn't been established. Her sisters know Sam and it's all a close English public school clique, so she's well-placed for a decent role. Her agent has also been talking to Kelly Marcel, the screenplay writer and, if needs be, a strong role will be written in for her.''
