It seems that Cara and Rita know where to draw the line between business and friendship - as 22-year old popstar Rita had no qualms whatsoever about nabbing her model bff's lucrative contract as the face of DKNY. Sources claim that Cara is privately upset at this development as she felt that working as the face of DKNY was the exact kind of modelling work she needed to increase her profile even more in the US - something that she and her team of advisors have turned their attention to, after achieving maximum saturation in Europe.
It remains to be seen however, how Cara feels about her best friend encroaching on her modelling territory - and perhaps it wouldn't be at all surprising if Cara were to make her rumoured music career a reality., so she too could beat her friend at her own game..."Anything you can do I can do better?" It certainly seems that way - but for now at least, the competition appears to remain amicable.
