Cara Delevingne on Her Acting Career, Relaxing & Model Friends

British model Cara Delevingne has spoken on how her transition to acting has come about. She reveals that nothing was planned but after she landed her first role, more offers kept coming. Cara's first major role will be in the upcoming film 'Kids in Love' and it sounds as though this is just the beginning for the model's acting career, who seems more passionate about acting. She commented:

“I just suddenly got one movie and then another one and then another one, that’s what I want to do, that’s the transition I want to make.”

The model also talks on reducing her workload as a model which meant cutting down on appearances at the recent Fashion Weeks. She says the experience has been much more relaxing this time around because there has been less pressure:

“It’s been very relaxing, I mean, compared to last time. It’s been really good actually.”

On how she relaxes during her time off, Cara says she is getting in to yoga and massages:

“Sleep more, have massages. I’ve started doing yoga and meditation, but I’m not very good at that kind of thing and turning my brain off. Music helps as well… My way of relaxing was always doing the opposite and playing the drums, but I need to be able to actually chill.”

Speaking on her close model friends Georgia May Jagger and Jourdan Dunn, Cara says it's nice to have friends around:

“Georgia helps me de-stress so much because I’ve known her for so long, it’s the same with Jourdan. It’s just lovely to have those girls around you because they’re like family.
