Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Talks Jason Statham & Social Media Bullies

British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley features on the cover and inside the October 2013 issue of Elle UK, and she also speaks to the magazine about her life - including relationships, career and more. Posing in a blonde wig, Rosie is seductive for the inside cover shoot which was captured by photographer Mariano Vivanco.

Speaking on her relationship with actor Jason Statham:
"Many models are in long-term relationships for stability. Admittedly, not always with great men, but it gives them something to come to, something grounding. That’s how I see my relationship."

On her career as a model and where she's at now:
"I can see why people think models come across as a little cold. When you start out, you’re so young you don’t have a voice. Everyone just tells you what to do and you can end up abroad in the middle of nowhere, with no one speaking English. It is very lonely… you develop a thick skin to protect yourself. Now I am 26, when I come on a set, I can say what I think and my opinions are noted. I’ve grafted hard to be here."

On ignoring what online bullies have to say:

"I read everything on the internet and I got destroyed by it. I panicked. I was unhappy because I was nervous and insecure, so I cut it off. Today I am in a healthier and happier place."

On why women need to be more united:

''I like the idea that it's time for women to stop bashing other women.Certain things have happened in the last few years that have humbled me and made me less judgemental of other women - particularly other women in my position ... I'm a real girl's girl and, the older I get, I become more pro women doing what they need to do to achieve their ambitions. We need to celebrate each other more - everybody fails and makes mistakes.''
