Photographer Terry Richardson has hit back at a fresh round of allegations made by model Charlotte Waters (read the story here). Although not addressing the story directly, Terry commented that he has never abused any model and believes the public are on a witch hunt:
“When these allegations resurfaced over the past few months, they seemed especially vicious and distorted . . . becoming nothing more than an emotionally-charged witch hunt.”
He adds that he has always worked with consenting women who are fully adult and aware of his projects:
“I collaborated with consenting adult women who were fully aware of the nature of the work, and as is typical with any project, everyone signed releases . . . I have never used an offer of work or a threat of rebuke to coerce someone into something that they did not want to do."
Richardson says he has never forced anyone to do anything against their own will:
“I give everyone that I work with enough respect to view them as having ownership of their free will and making their decisions accordingly.”
Just in case you forgot how graphic Terry's work can be - here are some photos of him posing with nude models (NWFW).
