Terry Richardson's Facebook Sex Offer May Have Been a Hoax

Terry Richardson's latest scandal may all just be a hoax according to reports. An expert delved deeper in to the message supposedly sent from Terry to model Emma Appleton in which he offered a Vogue shoot in exchange for sex via facebook.

It appears that the message may have been sent from a fake facebook account set up in Terry's name about 2 weeks ago which was hooked up to a "random gmail account" and is not Richardson's authentic account. A source close to the photographer has said:

“The whole thing is defamatory and possibly illegal. Appleton’s agent was informed about the fake account . . . but refused to acknowledge the truth and continued to grandstand.”

Appleton has since deleted her twitter since commenting on the message but did say:

“If the account is fake, then it needs to be removed. If it is real, then he is a hideous human.”
