British model Georgia May Jagger has opened up on inheriting some "amazing" vintage Chanel jewellery from her model mother Jerry Hall. Georgia says she now already owns some "incredible pieces" thanks to what her mother has passed along to her:
''I'm pretty lucky - I have got some incredible pieces. I inherited my mum's Chanel jewellery, so that's pretty amazing.''
However, the model says that she unfortunately has to leave her expensive jewels at home because she is always worried about losing them while travelling, but she tries to take just a few precious pieces with her. She explained:
''Most of my jewellery I leave at home because I travel so much and I'm always scared that I'm going to lose things. I always take a few rings with me, a couple of necklaces and then some earrings and then a statement piece, which will go with everything. I do believe you should wear your jewellery as often as possible though.''
She's thinking of adding more piercings to her ears in the near future:
''I want to get more piercings so I can wear more studs in my ears - I've only got three at the moment but I love the way it looks.''
When it comes to Christmas, Georgia likes to work within the colour theme:
"I think you should always go for colour at Christmas and that means keeping your jewellery more simple and choosing white stones. But I do also think gold and emerald green are great over the Christmas period - I mean it's good to keep with the theme right?"
