Abbey Lee Kershaw on Finding Her Passion & Moving to Hollywood

Abbey Lee Kershaw recently made the move from modelling to acting and she has opened up on being cast in upcoming film 'Mad Max: Fury Road'. The model sent director George Miller an audition tape and was swiftly asked to come to Australia for the part:

“I guess I had something George needed, because he flew me to Australia not long after.”

Abbey says landing the role opened her eyes to what life is like on set and she was amazed: “I found my passion, and learned where I was meant to be in life,” she says, adding that work on the film “was like a boxing session: sweat, tears, lactic acid and euphoria. Even when it hurts, you wanna go back for more, because it feels so good.” Abbey is currently working on new film 'Ruben Guthrie' and says that once it's complete, she intends to move to Hollywood:

“I’m working hard on that. Then I’m making the move to Hollywood from New York City.”
