Prada Pre-Fall 2015: Reworked Classics

An ode to classics? Prada's Pre-Fall 2015 collection stripped back to basics, only to reinterpret them in a modern and fresh take. Sticking to a mostly dark & moody colour palette, designer Miuccia Prada opted to demonstrate her refined design skills, rather than pander to trend-driven movements.

The double-breasted coat featured heavily - a sharp and slightly masculine structure that looked essentially Italian. Dresses were subtly womanly with belted waists, below the knee helms and plunging v-necks, while she toyed with juxtaposing this soft femininity with a few androgynous looks: an oversized grey buttoned-up shirt teamed with boyish shorts was one such example.

Miuccia delivered a collection that was at it's heart composed of luxurious staples, timeless pieces.
