Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Talks Plotting Her Own Success to Elle UK

British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has opened up on her success, revealing that the key to being successful is to have a clear strategic plan. She says she has a vision of where she would like to be in the future and thinks that is key:

''I definitely have a better idea now of where I want to be in five and ten years, and I think that's important. I don't believe anybody who is successful doesn't have a strategic plan.''

Rosie says young models who aren't thinking about the future don't really know how to make their careers last:

''Sometimes I read interviews with girls and they're like, 'Oh, I just take it as it comes,' and I'm like, 'That's bulls**t!' Whether you're an entertainer or a model or an actress, it takes so much that there has to be a big picture.''

The model adds that she likes to stay as grounded as possible:

''I have a lot of British friends in LA which helps me stay rooted. I have a good roast once a week and invite my British friends over. I don't drink tea - I'm probably the only British girl you'll meet who doesn't drink tea - but I do like a Hobnob or Rich Tea [biscuit].''

Rosie is captured by Kai Z Feng and styled by Anne-Marie Curtis for the February 2015 issue of Elle UK.
